This tombo 9036 pure packing PTFEGland Packing 9036 can be applied to Rotary and reciprocating pumps, mixers, agitators etc.
To seal all chemicals except gas, liquid alkali metals and liquids where contamination is not permitted.
Tombo 9036 is a pure TFE Fiber Packing but with a very enhanced ability to seal a high-speed shaft with the addition of inactive agents and heat resistance. It retains the same features as 9034's resistance to chemical and mechanical attacks of large dimensional stability, effective seals with low gland pressure etc.
Because TFE is low in thermal conductivity and large in thermal expansion, friction heat is not carried out of the filling box but is trapped inside and damaging packing, so TOMBO 9034 is not recommended for high speed pumps.
