Chesterton 1740 is an inter-woven packaging using DuPont ™ KEVLAR® yarn with PTFE and other lubricants. * Each piece of yarn has been coated separately to remove heat. 1740 can be installed as a complete set to offer a combined resistance to pressure, temperature, chemicals, and wear. 1740 braided packing is also used as a back-up ring to increase the extrusion resistance in abrasive applications.
